My name is Karima, a former fitness instructor from 2001 to 2017. I trained in personal training in 2010 through Les Mills Coach, TRX, kettlebell, ViPR… But it was my great discovery of yoga in 2014 that deeply transformed my perception of training.
Today, I teach Ashtanga, Rocket Yoga, Yin, Hatha, Egyptian Yoga, and Pilates.
In 2025, I decided to retrain in personal training by joining the PCA Summer School. It was a real challenge, but I wanted to “update” my skills and deepen my knowledge in workout programming.
I took the time to compare the different wellness training programs available and chose PCA for the quality of their courses, the richness of the content, and the professionalism of the instructors.
From the very first days, I knew I was in the right place: a professional, comprehensive, and intensive school but above all, a caring one.
What I appreciated most was the course content, the rigor of the exams, and the trainers’ availability.
Already being a coach in sports and yoga, this program allowed me to learn a new way to train people. It also gave my career a real boost, providing me with a more structured and scientific vision of training.
My favorite exercise with my clients? The plank. I plank, you plank, they plank… everyone planks! It’s a fantastic exercise to strengthen the core, especially the transverse abdominis.
If I had one message to share with future coaches, it would be: “Don’t wait for it to be perfect, just do it.”
